FC Shakhtar Donetsk vs Feyenoord Prediction 9 March 2023

The program of the Europa League round of 16 will continue in Warsaw, where the finalist of last year's Conference League Feyenoord will visit Shakhtar.

After a three-month hiatus, Shakhtar returned to football with a Europa League clash with Rennes, which they won on penalties. Then there were championship meetings with Mynai (4:1) and Metalist 1925 (7:0), thanks to which the Miners got close to the tournament leader and approached new challenges with their heads held high.

The last time Feyenoord lost at the official level was on October 27 - Sturm turned out to be their offenders, but in the end, the Rotterdam side beat them, Lazio, and Midtjylland and finished first in the UEL group. They also lead in the Eredivisie, where they defeated Groningen prior to that — 1-0.

On paper, the Dutch giants look stronger, and their playing tone is much higher. However, we don't think that Shakhtar will give up without a fight – they have a good attacking potential, thanks to which they will be able to adequately respond to all Feyenoord's attacking attempts.
