Jadon Sancho doesn’t mind returning to England

Right winger of Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho shared his thoughts regarding a return to England or a transfer to another championship.

In 2017, Sancho left Manchester City for Dortmund, where he became a first squad player and also received a call-up to the national team of England. For two seasons in the Black-and-Yellows’ camp, the winger played 49 matches, in which he scored fifteen goals and made 24 assists. The Englishman has two goals and three assists in three matches in the new season.

This summer, Manchester United and Manchester City hunted after the player. The transfer to the Citizens’ camp would be acceptable for the footballer, because the return to Manchester and not to his native club would cause a storm of indignation from local fans.

In their turn, both clubs were not in a hurry this summer and decided to hold off the transfer until the end of the next season. This will give them a reason to observe Sancho’s progress on a distance and also lower the price for the Englishman after the end of his contract with Borussia, which he intends to extend, as it became known from the latest interview,

“I cannot see the future, but I wouldn’t mind [returning to the EPL]. I wouldn’t exclude the option with La Liga as well, but nothing ca be said right now.

The media pressure in Germany is a lot weaker. I think that helps me to remain concentrated. I am happy that I am able to play – it’s the most important thing. I just help my team and learn something every time, when I enter the pitch”, said Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund, as time showed, is a great start for young players. Thanks to loyalty and constantly young line of offense, where only Marco Reus can be spotted out of the old-timers, who stayed true to fans at Signal-Iduna Park because of injuries and principles. Therefore, as Sancho’s teammate Paco Alcacer said, if the winger doesn’t lose his head, he will become one of the best in the world.
