Klopp is getting ready for North West Derby

Jurgen Klopp is already getting ready for the derby against Manchester United and is expecting the return of Alisson Becker to the starting line-up.

At the start of the season, Liverpool have given maximum results in the first matches and are rightfully occupying the first place in the league. Whereas the club has got last season’s luck, which could be seen in the match against Sheffield United, when Wijnaldum was scoring a curious goal between the hands of the opponent’s goalkeeper.

Alisson Becker, the main goalkeeper of the team since last season, received an injury in the first match against Norwich and still has not conducted a single full match. But every cloud has a silver lining. Spaniard Adrian fully compensated the Brazilian’s absence, bringing the Reds the UEFA Super Cup and a number of victories in the league. There was a defeat from Napoli in the Champions League, but it seems  that Klopp is betting on the race after the EPL title this season.

Ahead of the match with Leicester in match day 8 of the EPL, the German manager of the Merseyside team commented on the circumstances of affairs with Alisson,

“One thing is Alisson’s opinion and another thing is prescriptions of the medical division. They are a bit careful. We’ll see.

Alisson looks very well, but it was a serious injury and we do not want to risk. He still has not trained with the team and we have to see, how things will look next. He will probably be ready for Manchester United 100%. We will see.”

In spite of Alisson secure replacement on Adrian’s side it is the Brazilian, who is the main goalkeeper of Liverpool. Last season he won the Premier League Golden Glove, became the winner of 2019 Copa America and also was acknowledged as the best goalkeeper of the Champions League and FIFA. Therefore, Jurgen Klopp’s opinion is absolutely justified in the matter. On the other hand, Adrian asserted himself and booked himself at least the participation in the EFL Cup and the FA cup.
