Czech court finds a new gambling bill legal

The Czech constitutional law has ruled, that all blocking of unlicensed gambling operators do not overstep the line of the law.

The changes in the gambling legislation in Czech Republic have entered into force in the beginning of 2017 and have already got a barrage of criticism in their address. Nevertheless, the court has recognized, that appropriate accreditation must be obtained initially by operators to perform gambling activities in the country. Otherwise, the work of a bookmaker will be blocked in accordance with the law.

The blocking policy offered by the Czech billionaire Babis was accepted quite arguably by operators and senators. There were doubts about its constitutionality until the bitter end.
