Dybala to remain at Juventus

Juventus Turin are getting ready to extend contract with Paulo Dybala until 2025.

After his transfer from Palermo to Juventus Paulo Dybala immediately secured his place in the starting line-up and constantly made from 11 efficient actions for a season. During Massimiliano Allegri’s last year of work in the Turinian club, the Argentine’s stats deteriorated and he managed to score only five goals and make six assists in 30 matches. But this season the playmaker scored seven goals and made eight assists in 24 matches.

Not so long ago, Dybala was treated from the coronavirus for a long time and because of that the club management had worries about the player. Nevertheless, the sickness left the Argentine and he is already at training.

Despite the fact that the halfback’s current contract is in force for another two years, Bianconeri have no intention of risking and have been holding negotiations on the agreement extension for a several months now. Thus the club wants to secure itself regarding Paulo’s possible departure to Barcelona, where he is constantly being sent to reconnect with Lionel Messi.

In its turn, the club is offering the footballer a salary of 7.5 million euros a year as well as a number of bonuses. It is reported that Dybala will sign a new agreement, when he returns to Turin to prepare for the season continuation, which has to be resumed on 13 June.

Paulo was and still is a the key link of Juventus playing formation. Despite the fact that the team doesn’t really play the attacking football, but the team’s move from defense to attack depends on Dybala, he manages the process and often is the main creative force of the Old Signora. There aren’t that many players of such a profile, especially of such a high level. Apart from Paulo, only Messi can probably boast such quality. Therefore, keeping the 26-year old halfback is an adequate primary task.
