Hazard evaluated his game for Real

Real Madrid Belgian winger Eden Hazard evaluated his own game for the team this season.

Last summer, Eden Hazard moved from Chelsea London to Real Madrid for 100 million euros, becoming Los Blancos’ most expensive player after Gareth Bale. However, Hazard did not wait too long to follow the footsteps of the Welsh teammate. The Belgian came to Madrid overweight after the triumph with Chelsea in the Europa League and could not adapt for a long time and the photo from the presentation with the Karim Benzema’s body is still fresh in the memory of the football fans.

Nevertheless, on the last training before the first official match for Los Blancos against Celta, Hazard got injured and appeared on the pitch in Real’s jersey only in the middle of September.

Later on, Hazard continued getting injured and because of that he played only 16 matches in La Liga season having scored only one goal and making six assists. In total, the player missed about six months due to muscle and ankle injuries; therefore, calling him the key link of Real’s success this season is impossible. But the footballer understands that himself and mentioned that in one of his latest interviews,

“We all won the title this year together, but on an individual level I probably spent the worst season in my career. The season turned out to be a bit weird, considering everything that happened.

Overall, the season is very good for the team, but I think it can be even better, if we advance to the Champions League quarter-final,” Hazard said.

Real Madrid took Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, thus showing that all rumors regarding Neymar’s purchase not worth a thing. However, as the practice shows, the Belgian turned out to be even more traumatic and besides quickly gains weight.

If we add the absence of required motivation, which can be seen in Hazard throughout his career, he can easily follow the footsteps of Ronaldinho and disappear from sight in the upcoming years already. But looking at Real continuing marinating Gareth Bale, such an outcome is not really probable. Especially during the world crisis.
