Odegaard is moving to Arsenal

Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard is joining London Arsenal.

Last season, Odegaard performed for Real Sociedad and played 36 games in total in the national league and the cup. He scored seven goals and madenine assists for the San Sebastian team before heading back to Real Madrid.

Martin played nine matches for Los Blancos, seven of which were in the championship and did not show any efficient actions. The midfielder is clearly not satisfied with the amount of practice and the playing style of Zinedine Zidane's team, so he intends to try his luck in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta wanted to see Odegaard in his squad, which is not surprising, since he needs a creative player in the center of the pitch. Given that Mesut Ozil has completely said goodbye to the Gunners, the position of a playmaker at Emirates is now vacant.

However, Real Madrid agree to let the player out on loan only for six months plus without the buyout option. This suggests that the football player is still seen at Santiago Bernabeu, since rumors have already circulated about the possible departure of Zidane in the summer and a change in the vector of development.

Arsenal have now gained a good pace and leveled the position in the standings a little. Therefore, to secure the fidelity of the movement, Odegaard will be taken to prove the vision of the game from Arteta. Moreover, the 22-year-old Norwegian has long been at Real Madrid and learned Spanish, which will help him get along with the head coach of the Gunners.

A six-month loan without the option of a buyout is not the best option for Arsenal in the long term. Therefore, we expect that Martin will come to London to help Arteta put out the fire, but not build the game on himself, and then safely throw the plan into the trash when he leaves. For the player, this is an opportunity to declare himself again and prove to Real Madrid that the unimportant results for the Madrid giant are the fault of the coaching staff, and not his.
