PSG put a price tag on Mbappe

French PSG have evaluated his leader Kylian Mbappe in 200 million euros ahead of his contract expiration.

Negotiations are still underway between Kylian Mbappe and PSG. The Parisians are not going to let go of the forward, which is not surprising after his hat-trick against Catalan Barcelona in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

The term of the 20-year-old Frenchman's contract is designed until next summer. Accordingly, if he does not leave in the summer of 2021 that is, there is a high probability that he will either sign a new contract with the club, or leave PSG as a free agent before the 2022 World Cup.

In this regard, PSG have a plan, according to which the club will demand from those wishing to purchase Mbappe at least 200 million euros. Given the pandemic and crisis, PSG believe this will scare off Real Madrid who were determined to sign the talented forward this summer.

On the other hand, PSG really run the risk of being left with nothing, because in the winter of the 2021/22 season already, Kylian will be able to sign a preliminary agreement and leave for free in the summer. We are not sure if this will be a priority for him, given the future World Cup, which will take place in the fall, not in the summer, so it will be beneficial for both parties to say goodbye at the end of the current season or renew the agreement.

I have great doubts that Mbappe will continue his career at PSG purely based on the team's prospects for dominance. It would be much more logical to move to some giant following the example of Real Madrid or Bayern, which constantly perform well in the international arena. We think if the Parisians manage to win the Champions League this season, then Kylian's mission at Parc des Princes will be completed and he will go to another club with peace of mind in the rank of champion, leaving behind quite good dividends for PSG.
