Ibrahimovic dances to Raiola’s tune

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is helping his agent make a successful deal regarding Gianluigi Donnarumma’s transfer.

Donnarumma will become a free agent this summer. He was one of the key figures in Milan's qualification for the Champions League for the first time since 2013/14, so retaining the player would be a priority for the club. But the agent, along with the player, insist on too high a salary and a commission of 20 million euros, which Rossoneri are not going to give for their product.

At the same time, Milan were strengthened by Mike Maignan, which confirmed the unwillingness to cooperate with the mercantile footballer. The list of contenders for Donnarumma included Juventus, which wanted to find a replacement for Buffon, and PSG. The Parisians are looking for a replacement of Keylor Navas.

But, apparently, they are not ready to fork out for the benefit of Mino Raiola, since the agent launched a scheme of pressure with his authority. In his case, it is Zlatan Ibrahimovic,

“I'm very sorry. They ask me if the players get too much, but now I have a question: how valuable is Donnarumma? He grew up at Milan and could be the team's main goalkeeper for 20 years. Well, maybe not 20, he's not Ibra.

But Donnarumma is the strongest goalkeeper in the world. He could become the personification of Milan like Maldini. We don't know if Gigio will leave, it takes two to tango. I would advise him to stay at Milan until the very end,” - said the Swede in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The fact is that Zlatan himself is Mino Raiola's client, and he asked the Rossoneri striker to put pressure on the club's management through the press in order to prolong the goalkeeper's contract. The scheme, as for me, is not the cleanest, but Raiola has no other ways when the issue is about tens of millions of euros.

I still think Milan doesn't need Donnarumma. Especially in terms of signing Maignan, who made Lille the champions of France and pushed PSG aside. As for me, the footballer has already passed the point of no return and nothing awaits him on San Siro except fans pouring him with obscene expressions from head to toe.
