Bookmakers have reestablished betting on Van Dijk
A number of bookmaking companies have opened their markets for betting on Virgil van Dijk’s transfer after the negotiations between the Dutchman and Liverpool have reached a dead end.
Liverpool representatives have recently announced, that the club is no longer interested in signing the Southampton defender and apologized to the Saints.
After that, Ladbrokes bookmaking company’s employees have made Manchester City the leaders in pursuit after the defender, predicting van Dijk’s transfer to the Citizens’ camp with the odd of 6/5. The next ones in the list are Chelsea (3/1), after which Manchester United are situated (12/1).
The footballer’s contract with Southampton is due to expire in 2022 and his clausula is around 60 million pounds.
