Why did Atletico Madrid bring back Antoine Griezmann after his treacherous leave for Barcelona?

Antoine is now on a two-year loan and Atletico will be obliged to buy the player out if he plays a sufficient number of matches. Barcelona simply had no choice. In order to somehow unload the payroll, they sent Griezmann and Pjanic, as well as other players out on loan.
