Tottenham rejuvenate squad!

At the end of the transfer window, Tottenham plan to buy two quality players! We’re talking about the striker of Villarreal Arnaut Danjuma, and the right-back of Sporting, Pedro Porro.

Spurs got off to a very good start to this Premier League season, but towards the end of the first half, they slowed down and dropped to fifth position with the challenge of finishing in the Champions League spot. Even Tottenham's manager Antonio Conte admits that his club can’t compete on equal terms with the giants - there is not enough depth in the squad and a large number of qualified performers. It seems that the Londoners will try to solve both issues in the coming days.

As an alternative to Harry Kane, Spurs will take Arnaut Danjuma on a one-year loan, who has proven himself at Villarreal. The 25-year-old Dutchman moved there the summer before last after a brilliant season at Bournemouth and immediately helped the Yellow Submarine reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, and also scored 10 goals in La Liga. Arnaut's performance has waned this campaign, largely due to the recovery of offensive leader Gerard Moreno, who has turned into the Levantines’ top scorer.

Pedro Porro is a much more interesting character. Previously, he belonged to Manchester City, but he failed to impress Josep Guardiola. After several loan spells, the 23-year-old Spaniard found himself at Sporting Lisbon, where he developed into a key right-back. With Pedro in the squad, the Lions have been performing worthily not only in the Primeira Liga, but also in European competitions for several years now. And with Tottenham, he crossed paths in the group stage of the current Champions League.

Now on the right wing of the Spurs defense is 24-year-old Brazilian Emerson Royal, who could do with a worthy backup. Pedro Porro would fit the role very well, given the fact that Sporting CP also advocate a three center-back formation. Even if Antonio Conte leaves the Tottenham coaching office (which is already being actively discussed), the Spaniard will definitely not get lost in the club. Moreover, according to rumors, they are ready to pay a compensation fee of 45 million euros for him.

As for us, Danjuma and Porro will help Tottenham spend the second part of the season with dignity and still impose a fight for the top 4. However, the future prospects of Spurs are very vague, as it will not be easy for them to compete with the progressive Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle, the powerful Manchester City, as well as Liverpool and Chelsea, who are in the process of restructuring. Especially if club owner Daniel Levy goes wrong with the coach again.
