Kimpembe is being pushed out of PSG!
PSG central defender Presnel Kimpembe is thinking about changing his club registration! The other day, he was stripped of the title of vice-captain of the team against the backdrop of the loss of a place in the first team.
Presnel Kimpembe is a product of PSG and has played over two hundred matches for the club in the league and the French Cup, as well as in the Champions League. At the same time, the 27-year-old Frenchman has not always been the main performer of the Parisians. However, he still won a lot of trophies with them and, basically, could have stayed at the Parc des Princes until the end of his career.
Given the high status of Kimpembe within the team, PSG gave him the title of vice-captain at one point. However, recently Presnel was stripped of his armband in favor of the main star of the team, Kylian Mbappe. Obviously, the center back, who is famous for his devotion and loyalty to the club, wasn’t fine with such a decision. Kimpembe is now aiming to leave Paris, especially since his contract with PSG expires in the summer of 2024.
Until the 27-year-old player, who is one of the best defenders of our time finds himself to be a free agent, PSG must hurry to sell him. Last summer, they had such a chance, but failed to find a place for Kimpembe then. Now, against the backdrop of the conflict, it will be much easier to do this. And to replace Presnel, the Parisians are already preparing the purchase of Skrinjar, a performer of at least the same high level, from AC Milan.
Where will Kimpembe go? The top clubs in the Premier League are well packed with centre-backs, with the possible exception of Arsenal and Liverpool. Picking up a smart player for a small fee is rather their style. For Real and Barcelona, Presnel is not particularly “pop”, Bayern will bet on dDe Ligt, Juventus are bogged down in disciplinary sanctions. There are still Milanese giants left – we won’t be surprised if PSG sends Kimpembe to Inter for the transfer of Skrinjar.
It seems that the rotation of center backs in the ranks of the champions of France is inevitable. Presnel Kimpembe is very likely to leave the club where he is not very appreciated and go to the Premier League or Serie A. In any case, a quality defender would certainly not get lost in world football, because he has at least six years of an active career ahead of him.
