It is not surprising that against this backdrop, Paul was under the threat of a long disqualification.

However, at the time of this story, Juventus had already suspended the 30-year-old Frenchman from training with the main team. Now his career is in serious jeopardy.

We wouldn’t be surprised if in the near future Pogba goes to finish his game in the Middle East, where they are not particularly sensitive to reputational scandals, as in Europe. However, this will happen in the best possible scenarios. If the Frenchman is found guilty, he will be suspended from football for two years. And if they prove that Paul used the prohibited drug on purpose, the ban will be extended to four years.

Paul Pogba had serious playing potential and could become one of the best midfielders in the world in the twenty-first century. However, injuries, problems with discipline and, now, a murky doping story have led to such a sad ending. We very much doubt that the French midfielder’s reputation will ever be clear, given the current realities of life in the civilized world.
