Salah to remain in Liverpool

Mohamed Salah scored 43 goals this season and won Best Player award according to the EPL footballers. The Egyptian let fans know last week that he is not going to leave the club in spite of Real’s interest.

Salah’s transfer from Roma justified itself judging by the statistics, demonstrated by the footballer. The winger, purchased for 40 million Euros became the backbone of the attacking three, also consisting of Mane and Firmino. The forwards helped the team set a new efficiency record in the Champions League, which is now 46 goals.

In the wake of performance this season, Real Madrid express interest in the Reds’ player, according to the Spanish media. However, Salah himself denies the possibility of moving this summer and is concentrated on the last match in the championship and the Champions League final,

“I am very happy here. Everything is okay. Of course, I have ambitions for the future with Liverpool. As you can see, we had a great season, now we are in the Champions League final and everyone is excited.

This is just the beginning. This is my first year here and for some other players it’s the same. It’s just the beginning.”

Jurgen Klopp precisely determined the footballer’s place on the pitch, putting Salah higher than other teammates. Thanks to that, the player constantly runs into free zones, created by Firmino and Mane in counterattacks. Whereas the footballer manages to work in defense because of the managerial hyper pressing tactics. When losing the ball, the team picks a weak victim, makes opponents give away the ball and presses. The tactics goal is to take away the ball in the first three-five seconds after a loss. Thanks to proper distribution of authority, the team manages to retrieve the ball and rest. This reflects positively on Liverpool forwards, which is seen by resistance to injury and individual achievements this season.

Liverpool are not setting themselves on the final of the most prestigious club tournament in Europe, as they have not yet solved the issue of getting into the tournament next season. For that, the Scousers’ main forward and the team need to secure a victory in the last match of the EPL against Brighton.
