Lunin or Courtois?

Lunin or Courtois?

The outcome of the transfer saga regarding the transfer of Courtois to Real Madrid is coming to an end. The Belgian refuses to return to London, but the club still doesn’t know about the goalkeeper’s intentions.

We previously wrote that Real Madrid are ready to buy Thibaut Courtois to replace Keylor Navas. However, two problems arise here: Navas has not exhausted himself yet and securely defenses the goal of Los Blancos, the proof of which became another victory in the Champions League. And the second problem is in a long-term goalkeeper. We are talking about Andriy Lunin, who this summer moved to Madrid from Zorya Luhansk.

BBC informs that on Monday the Belgian goalkeeper of Chelsea did not return to the team’s camp, having missed a training. In the wake of the rumors, which were in the air before that, it is becoming clear that the reason for demarche is regarding the transfer to Real. However, the new manager of the Blues Maurizio Sarri didn’t hear about the goalkeeper’s intentions,

“I don’t care what his agent says. I want to hear the same thing from Thibaut personally on Monday. I only need the players, who actually want to play in Chelsea.”

As we can see, Courtois’ absence on a training helps to break up relations with the manager and knowing Sarri’s character, the Belgian will have to leave London urgently. The problem is that Chelsea have no goalkeepers except unstable Willy Caballero and the 38-year old Robert Green. Sky Sports insists on the interest of Chelsea to Butland, however, for that it is urgent to finally solve the issue with Courtois, since the transfer window in England closes on the ninth of August.

Lopetegui, by the way, is not going to hurry, as the Spaniard like Lunin’s play in the match with Juventus and he intends to leave the Ukrainian in the first echelon. However, bookmakers evaluate the chances on Courtois’ transfer to Madrid quite highly. The odds on the transfer of the Belgian to Real are 1/6, which is much more probable than his return to Atletico (25/1), continuation of performance for Chelsea (4/1) oe departure to Juventus (28/1).
