Milan await Piątek at their camp

The Italian club has made a deal with Polish forward of Genoa Krzysztof Piątek about a transfer this winter already. The Pole will join Gennaro Gattuso’s team and sign a contract for five years.

Krzysztof has become the main breakout of the season in Italy. Although there are other goalscorers in Serie A, like 35-year-old Fabio Quagliarella, or Zapata, who has revived his career, the 23-year-old Pole arouses a lot more interest in club.

The Pole has played in 21 matches in Genoa squad, in which he scored 19 matches. The interest in forward was attributed to Real Madrid and other giants, but Piątek took the path of least resistance.

According to the Italian press, the 23-year-old footballer will soon pass medical examination at San Siro and sign the five-year contract and the transfer sum will be about 35 million euros with a loan until the end of the season. Whereas Rossoneri management should remember about financial fair-play rules. If the club doesn’t follow the UEFA conclusion, it will miss the 2020 European Cup season regardless of the place occupied in the league.

Piątek is going to Milan with a clear understanding of his place on the pitch. There is no efficient forward in Gattuso team’s camp. Cutrone and Suso substitute each other in saving the team and earning crucial points, while Higuain is only listed on the pitch. Thereby Milan want to send the Argentine to Chelsea, where Sarri is also looking for a forward and is ready to take the former Napoli and Juventus striker on loan.

Such an exchange is perfect for Piątek. The forward will immediately receive necessary gaming practice and ability to cling on to the Champions League. Besides, he will not have inconvenience with assimilation and learning new language. Considering Paqueta’s purchase from Brazil, the Polish forward will have moments, created by the new playmaker. The defense line strengthening is next.
