Real do not need Eriksen anymore

Real Madrid rejected the idea of purchase of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen. In revenge to the Dane, Los Blancos have seriously become interested in London Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.

In recent years Eriksen has become a pillar of Mauricio Pochettino’s team as well as the national team of Denmark. This season, the halfback has played 29 matches for the Spurs in all tournaments, has scored six goals and has given ten efficient passes. But in spite of all that the team’s results do not change significantly. Tottenham do not win trophies and therefore, Eriksen is not going to extend the contract.

The current agreement of the Dane is designed until the summer of 2020 and Tottenham will not sell the player cheaper than 100 million euros. Real intended to negotiate until the mark of 80 million euros and therefore shifted attention to Hazard.

The 28-year-old Belgian winger doesn’t get on to well with current Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, because of which he would easily agree on the transfer to Real. Moreover, the player stated numerous times that he dreams of playing for the Madridian club.

Chelsea ask for Hazard not less than 100 million euros, while Real want to lower the price to a minimal level, as the Belgian’s contract is also designed until 2020. At the same time, the Blues are hoping to extend Hazard, but for now the winger is not in a hurry to answer and prefers an option with the transfer.

Real desperately need a leader in the team, who was Cristiano Ronaldo. With the Portuguese’s departure, a microclimate was violated in the team and the current squad has no motivation. Because of that, Solari is trying to infiltrate youth, hungry for victories, in the first squad. And therefore, the current Real need a new leader for them. Hazard would fit for the post, considering his skills and position on the pitch, which corresponds the one of Cristiano Ronaldo.
