Real signed Jovic

After lengthy negotiations, the Eintracht Frankfurt forward, Luka Jovic, transferred to Real Madrid for 60 million euros.

One of the key players, who influenced Eintracht’s success in the last two seasons, Luka Jovic, moved to the camp of the third team this championship in Spain. For the past year, the Serbian together with his team won the German cup under the management of Niko Kovac and in the past season, the player together with the Eagles advanced to the Europa League semi-final, where lost to Chelsea on penalties.

Jovic scored 17 goals in 32 matches in Bundesliga and made six assists, having become one of the best goalscorers of the championship. Thanks to efficient game, a number of clubs are interested in Jovic, but Real won the race, which is no surprise. After his return, Zidane set the terms of the transfer policy and the club president Florentino Perez is following them thoroughly. Even despite a good season by Karim Benzema, the French manager went on rejuvenating the squad and the line of attack in particular.

According to the British newspaper Marca, Jovic will cost Real Madrid 60 million euros and additionally pay five million as bonuses. Whereas 30% of the whole sum will go to the Portuguese Benfica, from which Eintraacht took the Serbian in April for six million euros.

Jovic became the third purchase or Zidane after his return. Before that Real signed Porto central defender Militao for 50 million euros as well as attacker Rodrigo from Santos for 45 million euros. But this is far from the end of Zidane’s plans.

The former halfback is also aiming at replacing the aging Marcelo, the replacement of which could be Mendy from Lyon. The Frenchman wants Pogba, Eriksen or van Dijk in the midfield and Eden Hazard in attack, which would end the reconstruction of the Madridian club for the near years.

Los Blancos swiftly entered the transfer market and have already strengthened themselves decently. However, they are far from a full reload. Considering resources Zidane has at the moment, Real have to become the main newsmaker in the next transfer window and conduct a generation change, while the team has enough players, capable of sharing experience with young rookies.
