Man Utd trying to keep Pogba

Manchester United are trying to keep Paul Pogba from temptation to move to PSG, Real or Juventus by all possible means.

The English club continues to experience post-apocalyptic period after sir Alex Ferguson’s departure. Not a single manager gave Man Utd stability of several seasons after the Scotsman; therefore, the team keeps hanging in the international arena on its name solely.

The last season was not an exception. The Red Devils took the sixth place in the league, were eliminated in the quarter-final of the Champions League and did not qualify to the most prestigious club tournament in Europe for the next season. The club problem is not only in the fact that top players do not want to join them, but also the fact that their current team can tumble down this summer already.

The bet of Man Utd’s current manager Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer was on the halfback Paul Pogba of which he recently told according to Sky Sports. But even a possible captain’s armband was not an argument for him, when money remain priority. In symbiosis with the agent Mino Raiola, the midfielder decided to bankrupt Man Utd, who are ready to offer him 500 thousand pounds a week, raising his salary more than twice. Alongside Alexis Sanchez he can lead the top highest-paid players of the team.

Instead of that Pogba heats up the situation around himself with the following statements,

“I spent three good seasons at Manchester. Yes, there were both good and bad moments, just like in everybody else. Just like everywhere. The last season was the best for me.

Maybe, it is time to get a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking about that: accept a new challenge somewhere else.”

Three clubs claim the world champion at once according to media, Juventus Real and PSG. The footballer himself is not especially interested in returning to Turin, specifically to rough Maurizio Sarri. Pogba wants to go to Real to his countryman Zinedine Zidane as well as his teammates in the national team. Mino Raiola insists on PSG because of an option to get a maximally comfortable contract.

This way Pogba became the face of modern football. A player who doesn’t need regalia and respect, but only profit.

Twenty years ago, even those seemingly obsessed with their greatness Beckham or van Nistelrooy could dream of a captain's armband at Man Utd. Football has become a business and footballers a product. Agents became managers who sell services of their wards. Wards, who have armies of fans and influence on public.

Prestige and respect? Throw away that crap out of your head and add a couple of zeros to the contract. As we are the best on the market.
