Netherlands vs Bulgaria Prediction 3 September 2017
On September 3 2017 at 17:00 at the Amsterdam Arena in the upcoming regular game of the 2018 World Cup qualification campaign Netherlands national football team will play against Bulgaria.
On Thursday, August 31 Netherlands played against France in Paris. Netherlands are by far not in perfect conditions now and they show corresponding results. In that game Netherlands missed a fast goal and yet they managed to stabilize the situation on the pitch. In the second half the Dutch player was sent-off and after that the team had no chances at all. As a result, they lost 4:0 and now they almost have no chances to make it to the final part of the competition at all.
As for Bulgaria, they also played their match against Sweden this week. Bulgaria played at home and yet they weren’t considered to be the favorites of the match. The fast goal on the 12th minute was supposed to help them and yet Sweden weren’t going to give up. The first half finished with 2:2 score where Sweden didn’t score from a penalty shot. In the second half the domestic fans of Bulgaria were supporting the team which actually helped a lot. Bulgaria scored the winner on the 79th minute which helped the team take the third place in the standings just one point below the second place.
The teams have played four games against each other since 2006. In these games the teams drew once while Netherlands won once and Bulgaria won twice. We must remind you that Bulgaria outplayed Netherlands 2:0 in the first round of the current qualification. It’s hard to understand how the game will go. We are sure that Netherlands will be supported by their fans and yet their “holes” in defense won’t let them go the game without conceding. We think that both teams will manage to score at least once.
