Italy vs Israel Prediction 5 September 2017
On September 5 2017 at 19:45 at the Mapei Stadium Citta del Tricolore Italy national team will play against Israel in the 8th game of the UEFA World Cup qualification.
Everybody was waiting for the game between Italy and Spain in Madrid. We must say at the very beginning that the statistics of the match don’t correspond to what was actually happening on the pitch. Ventura obviously chose the wrong tactics. Italy almost didn’t attack and even when they did Spain immediately responded with sharp counter-attacks. As a result, Italy lost and Spain will definitely be the leaders of the group now.
As for Israel, they kept failing in their qualifiers campaign. Of course, they had a very difficult group where they had to play against Italy and Spain and yet these teams weren’t the only ones they didn’t manage to outplay. In the latest game Israel hosted Macedonia. The game was really boring and the only goal was unexpectedly scored by the guests.
The match on Tuesday will be the fifth one played between Italy and Israel. The results of the previous matches played show the advantage of Italy as they won three times. Even though Italy are no longer in the race for the first place in the table, they still don’t have any competitors left and they will probably win in the remaining 3 games.
